Construction Site HR Manager

Job Title: Construction Site HR Manager

Responsibilities:

▪ Oversee all human resources functions on construction sites.

▪ Recruit, hire, and onboard construction workers and staff.

▪ Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.

▪ Coordinate training and development programs for construction personnel.

▪ Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation for construction workers.

▪ Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

▪ Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to construction staff.

▪ Manage staffing levels and resource allocation based on project needs.

▪ Maintain accurate records of employee information, attendance, and training.

▪ Collaborate with project managers and site managers to address HR-related issues.

 

Qualifications:

▪ Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or related field.

▪ Proven experience in human resources management, preferably in the construction industry.

▪ Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

▪ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

▪ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

▪ Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office suite.

▪ Understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

▪ Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

▪ Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

▪ Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

 

Experience:

▪ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human resources management.

▪ Demonstrated success in recruiting, training, and managing construction personnel.

▪ Experience working in a construction or industrial environment preferred.

▪ Familiarity with construction project management processes and practices.

▪ Track record of maintaining HR records and documentation in compliance with regulations.

Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
